My background includes device administration, security rollouts and support for distributed teams. My personal projects give me a place to work with storage, self-hosted services and local AI.

IT operations

I’ve worked with device lifecycle and inventory management, configuration policies and endpoint security. That work includes planning rollouts, troubleshooting problems and supporting the people using those systems.

In my homelab, I configure and maintain file storage, private remote access, media services and local camera recording.

Security & access

I’m interested in how access decisions can account for the context of a request and the risk it presents.

In my homelab, I use Tailscale to reach services remotely while keeping them off the public internet.

Local AI

I run open models on my own hardware. I’ve used a mix of tools, including Ollama, LM Studio, llama.cpp, ComfyUI and Unsloth Studio.

I also experiment with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect models with tools. I’m interested in how those connections work and what a model can do with access to them.
