My background in IT and the projects I work on at home.

I’m Elliot Westbrook. My background is in IT operations, endpoint management and quality engineering. Outside work, I run a homelab and experiment with local AI.

My work

My work includes device administration, security rollouts and support for distributed teams. I’m interested in how system configuration affects the people who use and maintain it.

The experience page covers my technical background. The projects here show some of the systems I configure and maintain outside work.

Outside work

My homelab began as a NAS and now runs file storage, Jellyfin and Frigate on TrueNAS. Because it runs in an apartment, noise, heat and available space all affect the choices I make. I also run open models locally and experiment with tool connections through MCP.
